We are an organization engaged in charitable activities primarily in the area of Child Welfare & Food Distribution for poor and hungry. The organization came into being in the year 2011with a vision to make people aware of their responsibility towards building a better and healthy society, and to strengthen the social structure with main focus on Child Welfare & Health Care.
Baba had shown the path of “Service to Humanity”. Sai Kripa Mitr Mandel society, following the path shown by Shirdi Sai Baba, believes in the philosophy that devotion softens the heart, removes jealousy & hatred, and frees the mind from all fears & anxiety. Sai Kripa Mitr Mandel is a collective effort not just in feeling or understanding the pain of poverty, hunger and disease but also to cultivate charity through giving to the homeless, the hungry & the sick, and invoking the same in the society at large.
Children are future of the nation’ but this future has to be carefully nurtured & craftily moulded and strengthened today, in order to enable it to sustain the hardships to hold and bring to life, the dreams of a better and brightened tomorrow. While many lose their lives to hunger, malnutrition and lack of medical facilities, a lot of others lose their childhood to poverty, abuse and lack of proper educational infrastructure. There are countless children, not just in the rural areas but urban as well, who get deprived of school education and other privileges of a happy and healthy childhood .
Sai Kripa Mitr Mandel believes that true child welfare is to provide each and every child health, happiness, safety, equality and opportunities to grow into committed and responsible citizen. It is one of the foremost causes for us. In this regard we are identifying, poverty stricken areas making children and their families aware of the benefits of education and encouraging them to attending schools. As children are most vulnerable to exploitation and abuse, it is our endeavour to make them aware of their basic needs and rights.
We believe that true child welfare is to provide Education to the child which gives him the opportunity to grow in the society. It is our endeavour to make them aware of their basic needs and rights. We are not just providing support to children in terms of facilitating their academic lessons but also to teach them the most important lesson of their lives that they are as capable as anybody else. This education makes them believe that they are also part of the society.
We at Sai Kirpa Mitr Mandel (Regd.) believe that while a significant change can be effected in the highly materialistic society, if the teachings of Shri Shirdi Sai are spread through every nook & corner on one hand, and on the other, by helping the Poor and Needy to get Educated a better, progressive and peaceful society can evolve. We are able to achieve the former objective through our Sai Bhajan Sandhyas, and for the later, we are doing the following:
- We encourage children of the poor and the under-privileged to the need of the Education and how this can transform their lives for better. Our volunteers and we visit appropriate localities and areas to spread this awareness, and for keeping a regular touch with them.
- In such localities, we also distribute free Picture Books, Colour Books, Crayons, Pencils, Colourful Water Bottles, School Bags, and Block Games etc. to the kids of school-beginners age, in order to encourage (and lure) them to go to school.
- For those children who, due to financial or other reasons, have either never gone to school or had to drop out, we not just try to offer the needful help by understanding the real reason but also to try to arrange for suitable work/employment for the parent(s).
We also help the poor children and those living in orphanages by way of – Books, extra pair of Uniforms and Free Diet.
Educating a girl is educating a whole family’. Innocent Shiva came to be known as Chatrapati Maharaj Shivaji only because of his mother Jija Bai. India, once ‘the Seat of Knowledge’ where girl was even worshiped, in course of time, due to centuries of invasions of cultures, slavery and poverty, plunged into the darkness of illiteracy. This darkness not just engulfed the future of the nation but the whole generations. Unfortunately, even after more than 60 years of independence the girl child still continues to bear the brunt – so much so that it doesn’t even get to see the light outside the womb.
When such is the state of affairs what can be the future of girl education where even its survival is at stake. The ratio of girls to boys is alarming in many states. If we honestly try to find the reason, the reason is that the Girl Education did not get the kind of mass awareness that it needed to get. Even though the successive governments have done their best to highlight the need for girl education, the success can be expected only when it gets associated with people.
Sai Kirpa Mitr Mandel (Regd.) has taken up this cause in the state of Delhi is conducting community programs at village levels to educate people on the importance of educating the girl child. The parents are involved actively in the process by way of discussions and encouraging them to come up with their hesitations, be those economical, personal or social. This is just a small contribution of ours in this holy cause of nation building.
Baba liked to feed the hungry. He used to take Dakshina...and the amount thus collected, he used to spend on feeding hungry. Baba throughout his life laid great stress on "Feeding the Hungry". So much so that he even used to prepare food himself and serve.
He used to say ?the feeling of Hunger is the same in all the living ones, be it a man or an animal or a bird; man can express it, whereas the others cannot, that?s the only difference?
Sai Kirpa Mitr Mandel (Regd.) believing on the words and path shown by baba "Feed the Hungry".Sai kirpa mitr mandel start unique program on the same line.
Sai Kirpa Mitr Mandel (Regd.) endeavours to strengthen the society with its efforts on building a healthy childhood, hopeful work force and happy homes by creating awareness on health & hygiene, and educating on how major diseases like AIDS, Cancer & Diabetes can simply be prevented by a regulated lifestyle. Being aware and alert today is far better than fighting the life threatening diseases tomorrow. We have also embarked upon another very important area of Health – motivating young and old alike towards understanding the necessity of Organ Donation. One just needs to understand that after death, before the body is buried or cremated, some of the organs can be donated which can give a fresh lease of life to critically ill organ failure patients.
